3 Weeks...
I am moving in 3 weeks! I signed a lease transfer agreement for a 2 bedroom for $2.00 less a month than my current 1 bedroom. I will have a roommate and it is located just 2 buildings down from where I am at now. YEAH! Time for some crazy packing! It will probably be the easiest move...just lift and carry 2 buildings down. I am very excited! Anyone with extra boxes laying around or isn't busy on the 7th of March...let me know!

My Trip to Misery..I mean Missouri
So I found a GREAT deal on plane tickets ($29.00 each way) and took the opportunity to go and surprise my parents. Gretchen helped out on her end clearing their calendar with bogus doctors appointments and even got the RS president to cancel a meeting the day I came in. SO GREAT! I flew in Wednesday morning around 11am and went to a local mexican restaurant (actually not too bad for MO) and there we laid in wait for the folks to arrive with Rick (my brother in law). I hid and called my dad for their address and told him my pen wasn't working and to hang on, I then went out and asked him if I could borrow his. IT WAS CLASSIC. No clue. (video below)
I stayed out there until Saturday staying up LATE and getting up EARLY. We wend through old pics (some of which I have been tagged in on FB) but didn't get to the MOUNDS of slides my dad has. We did some running around for our girls day on Friday getting our nails done, hitting Sephora (not literally), and shopping at the 1/2 off 1/2 off store. I flew back out Saturday...and back to WARM weather. I knew it was going to be cold (25 degrees-ish but felt -25!) and warmed up a little while I was there. IT WAS FREEZING!! Glad to be home, but miss the fam terribly! Here are a few pics from my trip.
PS. I did come back with a cold...ugh!

15 Hours
I worked 15.5 hours yesterday (yes, on a Saturday) from 7am to 1030pm! I have worked long hours before, but yesterday took the cake! It is that time of year when we are called in for the long haul and assemble the W-2/year end information for ALL of our clients. This occurs every year, but this one was definitely the longest ever! This is due to how many clients we are servicing...and that is obviously a lot more than we have had in the past. As it got later and later...I became slightly delerious. Singing and dancing to the music playing on the overhead speakers trying to stay awake. I haven't had late nights like that since I worked at CNF! I will admit I was doped up on coca cola and those that have been around me...as I get tired I get a bit goofy. I was the comic releaf making everyone laugh. As long as I was laughing too, I was okay with it...LOL! And YES it is all done. There are a few reprints needed and the whole "delivery to the client", but the hard part is over....until next year!

My Knee
*The day after surgery*
So, for those of you who don't know, back on October 20th I had knee surgery to give me a new ACL as I had none! I had knee surgery back in 2005 to tighted my ACL as I had a partial tear. Well, 6 months later I slipped on some ice and think at that point, I had ruined it. I didn't have the money to do anything about it except some more physical therapy, which helped a little.
In May 08 I was helping a friend paint the inside of her new house and, while kneeling down, my knee popped! It only hurt for a few days and figured something was still wrong with my knee. So once I got in to the doc and had my MRI, I found out that I had no ACL. They wanted me to have surgery back in June, but with my cruise coming up...there was no way. I figured I had waited 2 and a half years, whats a few more months. Soooo, everything got scheduled and 1 week before my surgery, I overstepped my last step on my apartment stairs and landed on my bad knee...yeah, it hurt really bad. So bad, it bruised from the inside out! Lucky for me that Thursday my mom was coming out to help me after my surgery AND that next saturday my dad came out!
While my parents were here we mostly stayed in enjoying home cooked meals and chocolate shakes! The Saturday before they left I went and bought a new car...well, a 2001 Honda Accord, and that Sunday we went up to Sedona. It was really great to have my parents down to help out and spend almost 3 weeks with them! Here are some pics and if you want to see the "staple" or scar picture of me knee, just let me know. I figured I would spare those that would prefer not to see it...LOL! I hope to be back rollerblading by June!!
